Hannah's Prayer (www.hannah.org) is a ministry specifically for married Christian women struggling with fertility issues, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant death. Hannah's Prayer was begun by Jenny Saake, author of the book Hannah's Hope: Seeking God's Heart in the Midst of Infertility, Miscarriage, and Adoption Loss. The heart of the ministry is the online forums, which include topics such as Primary Infertility, Secondary Infertility, Loss, Assisted Reproductive Technology, Adoption, Pregnancy, Male Factor Infertility, Complete as Two (for those who are no longer pursuing parenthood), Adoption Loss, Embryo Adoption, Life Outside Infertility (for those days you need a break from the heaviness of life!), and many more. The forums are led by volunteer moderators who help keep conversations on target and respectful and, most importantly, pray for the women who frequent them. The ministry is nondenominational and welcomes women from a wide variety of backgrounds and, while it is based in the United States, its members span the entire globe. The Hannah's Prayer website states, "With all of our differences, we have at least these four things in common: we are married, we are Christians, we are women, and we are seeking God to aid us in surviving our fertility challenges." If you are looking for a supportive group of women on-line, women who "get" the grief and struggle you are dealing with, Hannah's Prayer is a great place to find one!

Thanks be to God, Hannah's Prayer was a lifeline of hope and grace to me while I suffered through recurrent miscarriages. After four years fellowshipping there, I continue to give and receive encouragement with my sisters in Christ there, and it is a community that brings me to my knees every day, not only because I bring the women there before my Father in prayer, but because I am continually stunned by the love, grace, and blessings that are poured out upon each member day by day.

Hannah's Prayer forums have been such a blessing! It's easy to feel very alone when going through infertility. Hannah's Prayer is a place where you always find others in the same or similar circumstances and you realize you're not alone. There are people who will help pray you through the journey who really truly feel what you feel. Such a blessing!

The ladies of Hannah's Prayer are like a family, comforting and encouraging me not only through a decade of infertility and multiple losses, but continuing to journey with me, in everything from fun and everyday life, to exploring a range of deep theological issues together, and remaining some of my deepest friendships even after God has brought our fertility journey to a close and moved us onto new chapters of life.

I cannot say how thankful I am to the women who have supported me through this ministry. I come from a situation where my husband had children from a prior marriage. It has been so nice to have other ladies in similar situation come along beside me and share how they have survived infertility while interacting with step children and ex-spouses.

Hannah's Prayer has been a lifeline for me through some of the darkest times of my life. They came alongside me and lifted me up in prayer, and continue to encourage and strengthen me. I've never before met such an amazing group of women who put the Lord first in their lives. I'm so thankful for their ministry!

Hannah's Prayer has been a lifeline for me. I found this beautiful community of amazing women after our first loss and first IVF cycle over 2 years ago. I have felt so much support, love, and kindness from women all over the world. To God be the glory for this incredible community that I am so fortunate to be a part of.

At Hannah's Prayer, I learned that I wasn't alone. That was so helpful, so important, and so encouraging! It's a safe place where we can rejoice with those who rejoice, and grieve with those who grieve.
